Dover Diamond Sports will have the opportunity to enter our teams into a number of post season tournaments for Little League. All of these are contingent on player/ manager availability and interest. As an organization we will do whatever possible to ensure our players have an opportunity to participate in these events.

International Tournament: This is the "A" level tournament seen on TV at the end of the season. Teams are allowed to be announced and start practicing on 6/1. Players who participate are expected to make a commitment to practice consistently for the weeks leading up to the tournament in the middle of June. The tournament may extend through the summer, depending on how well the team does.

Clarence Boyd: This is a local District 14 Little League tournament. Players on these teams would be the ones who did not make the International Tournament team. This is a great experience for younger players in each age group. 

Possible Tournament teams:
- 7/8 Clarence Boyd tournament: This team consists mostly of "Hybrid" level players and the games will be played with similar rules. Coach Pitch players may be considered if needed.
- 9/10 International and Clarence Boyd tournament: These teams will consist of players who are "baseball age" of 9 & 10. Eligible players from Hybrid (Boyd tournament), Minors, and Majors levels can participate. Typically we will need to enter an international team in order to enter a Clarence Boyd team.
- 11/12 International Tournament: This is the Majors level tournament (the one on ESPN every summer). Players who are baseball age 11 & 12 are eligible to play on the team. Players must play at least 12 Majors level games during the regular season in order to be eligible for the tournament team.
- Intermediate International Tournament: This is the tournament for players who are baseball age 13. Players will most likely play at the Intermediate level during the regular season.

Selection of Managers: In early to mid May, eligible managers and assistant coaches will submit their names to considered for any of the tournament teams listed above. The Executive Board members will then vote to decide who will manage each level. If any member of the Executive Board is up for consideration, he or she will abstain from voting for that position.

Selection of Players: After managers are selected for each level, he or she will work with the board to setup a try out date. Players will be expected to attend this try out so that we can evaluate all players who are eligible. Teams are allowed to be announced on 6/1 and can begin practicing that day. Any players who don't make the International Team are eligible to play on the Clarence Boyd team (if a team is available).

Cost: Parents will typically be asked to pay for new uniforms and/or hats. The cost will be equal to the cost of the uniforms.
